This workshop is aimed at PhD students who are interested in learning about Living Labs, a research methodology based on a participatory bottom-up approach to improve social innovation and policy development.

Once the methodology is introduced, there will be a presentation of the main results of an exemplary case study carried out within the region of Madrid, Spain. This case study highlights how novel contract based approaches have been improved to incentivize farmers to increase their provision of agri-environmental public goods.
