Workshop – Immaginazione, politica e crisi sociale

The Department for Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition (DISSTE) of the University of Eastern Piedmont is hosting a workshop titled “Imagination, Politics, and Eco-Social Crisis” on May 31st from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM in classroom D11 of the “San Giuseppe” Complex (Piazza Sant’Eusebio 5, Vercelli). The event is organized in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid as part of the seminar activities of the international project Speak4Nature, for which UPO is the lead institution.

The theme proposed by Speak4Nature will bring together professors Irene Ortiz Gala (Autonomous University of Madrid), Marta Benenti (University of Eastern Piedmont), and Elena Casetta (University of Turin). The workshop will be moderated by researcher Samuele Iaquinto from the Department of Humanistic Studies.

Thanks to different and complementary perspectives, the workshop provides an opportunity to reflect on the economic and social crisis and the challenges related to climate change, which are some of the key research topics of the Speak4Nature climate justice project.
