He has published and organised several works and articles in national and foreign journals. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Revista de Direito Ambiental of the Editora Revista dos Tribunais Thopson, as well as being a founding member of Aprodab – Associação dos Professores de Direito Ambiental do Brasil. Fellow and Ad Hoc Consultant for CNPq and Fapesc. Outstanding Researcher Award from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. 2011. Elected member of the Governing Board of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law (2015 to 2018). Awarded Capes Thesis 2019, supervisor category, Capes. Professor João David Ferreira Lima Medal Award from the Florianópolis City Council, 2020.
