UC3M is a public university located in Madrid. It is one of the most prestigious universities in Spain offering teaching and carrying out research in almost all disciplines, from social to natural sciences, as well as technical studies. UC3M ranks first in Spain for its overall performance, according to U-Ranking 2023, and is ranked 319th in the world in the new edition of the QS World University Rankings.
The schools involved in the project are:
- The School of Humanities, Communication and Library Science (Department of Humanities: Philosophy, Language and Literature Theory), which offers 7 Undergraduate and 2 Double Degree studies, 10 Official Master’s Degrees and 4 PhD programs pursuing transversal and multidisciplinary research objectives;
- The School of Law and Social Sciences (Department of International Law, Ecclesiastical Law and Philosophy of Law and Department of Social Sciences), whose Law Degree ranked first in the CYD Ranking 2020 and is considered one of the best law schools in Spain and one of the best in Europe;
- The School of Engineering (Department of Electric Engineering and Department of Thermic and Fluid Engineering);
- Institutional Relations and Sustainable Development Unit. UC3M will participate in all WPs, in particular leading WP3.
